Being a Song of Blades & Heroes campaign inspired by the Hyperborea stories of Clark Ashton Smith.
Our player picks a warband, of the usual 300 points. Personalities are limited in the usual way to 1/3 of the total.
A series of games is played. The opponent, terrain and scenario is chosen randomly.
Roll 2D6 for the scenario. These are from Song of Deeds & Glory.

Select the opponents from what you have and seems appropriate. For example other bands of adventurers, cultists of an unpleasant god, voormis or similar pre-humans, wild or fantastical monsters, or whatever you have.
Terrain in Hyperborea is varied, although in the north glacial and in the south and central areas predominantly jungle.

Just to provide a challenge, the opponent may not be the same strength as your party, So, roll 1D6 as below. Add one if it's the last battle (the boss fight).
