DBA. MONGOLS V GEORGIANS.
This particular scrap is a thirty-six-a-side between my Mongols and Mr. G- P-'s Georgians. The Mongols are half Warrior Miniatures and half Irregular Miniatures Il-Khanids from before these were remodelled to 28mm. The Georgians are also old Irregular Miniatures.

The game was a bit of a disaster for the Mongols. Georgian archers in the built-up area pretty much blocked outflanking to the left. The artillery and foot who should have dealt with the troublesome monastery stood in the centre and did nothing, even though there was a road leading to the monastery which would have made moving even the artillery straightforward. That left the Mongol right to pile into the Georgian left of heavier cavalry on a constricted frontage and with no room for outflanking where they unsurprisingly were beaten.
